I was invited to go to Nancy’s home to celebrate a New Year Party.
This day we danced and ate some traditional food like pupusas and tamales.
We were waiting for the New Year, and wrote wishes for everybody.
Also we played some games with Nancy and my friends, and then we went to bed at 3:00 A.M.
My family from El Salvador called me early, but they couldn’t communicate with me to wish me a happy New Year. I tried to communicate with them, but I couldn’t because the telephone line in El Salvador was really bad.
I was sad because I missed my family, but I talked with them on January 1, 2008.
